overall i am very happy with this tv. this is my 3rd Vizio and i am sold on this brand. They are priced good and the quality is excellent. this tv has a sharp picture with HD dish network attached. I have not connected a blu ray yet but i sure it will look great.

Lots of features for a TV this price, has both digital and analog out (check the side of the TV), great picture and contrast given the low ratio, and few artifacts using HD content. BUT it has a critical flaw mentioned indirectly by other reviewers. The HDMI connections on this set have several issues - first, they have real trouble with Dolby, the audio will crack and pop when you fast forward/rewind using a DVD or DVR (Tivo). If you can set your sources to PCM output this resolves the problem. Second, streaming via HDMI causes the audio and video to be out of sync, followed by an audio pop every 5 seconds as the audio tries to reset. This happened to me on Netflix using a Tivo HD, and was only with the VA370M. LG and Toshiba sets in my house had no issue with the same box.

I bought this set just about a year ago 2/09/09 and now 3/05/10 it has died. I called there service hotline and after giving them the model and serial # they say we wont take the tv unless I have the recipt from the store I bought it in. tell me isnt that what the serial number is for ? So i say dont buy go with another brand !

Delivery was prompt. The outside packaging was a little beat up, but the TV itself was unharmed. It took 5 minutes to set up.

The picture quality is great. Granted this is the first HDTV that I have purchased, but I have certainly been exposed to many over the past few years and this model certainly stands up very well. The levels are easily adjustable should you feel so inclined.

As for the audio, the speakers are quite powerful. Thus far we've not experienced any of the synching problems that a few others have mentioned.

Our particular set up goes as follows: cable in HDMI1, Wii in component1, and DVD in component2

Overall this is a great TV at a fraction of the cost of many of the other "name" brands. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Let me begin by stating that I already own 4 large flat panel TV's and 2 smaller flat panels, one of the larger ones being a Vizio also. So, I'm not exactly new to HDTV's or electronics in general. I just completed my second return authorization for this model due to audio synchronization and distortion problems. Both of these issues began within seven days of ownership, so I thank my lucky stars for Amazon and their recoginition of excellent customer service. Some online retailers would simply say 'too bad' (been there, done that too).
Interestingly enough, both my slightly older Vizio as well as my sister in law's Vizio TV have a "SYNC" adjustment in the audio properties which this one lacks. Too bad Vizio. I was beginning to believe you were a serious competitor in this market,but I guess now that the name recognition is there, it's time to start 'cutting corners'.
